Too many newsletters? Brian Roemmele has shared a Grok Bot that reads them for you and sends back one daily report. “I have over 3400 email newsletter subscriptions,” Roemmele wrote in a post on X on 14 October 2026; that is his own figure. “Send newsletter subscriptions to your @Grok @Bot email address and run this Bot,” he wrote.
This is a bot template that a user built and shared, not an official xAI launch. The bot’s page says it “was created by a third-party user” and that it “may act on your behalf”.
What it does
The bot is called “Email Newsletter Daily Report”. According to its page, you subscribe your newsletters and podcasts to the bot’s email address and “get a daily report with an executive summary, per-item summaries, and 1-10 uniqueness ratings, in text and vivid HTML.” The uniqueness rating helps you spot which items say something new.
How to set it up
- Open the bot page and add the bot. Go to the bot’s page on x.ai and choose “Add to Grok Bot”. Doing so means accepting the bot-sharing terms linked on the page.
- Give the bot its own email address. Your Grok Bot needs an email address for newsletters to land in.
- Move your subscriptions. Change your newsletter and podcast subscriptions so they go to that address instead of your personal inbox.
- Read the daily report. Each day, check the report for the summary and the items rated most unique.
Things to know
- You need Grok Bot. The template only works if you have access to Grok Bot.
- Moving subscriptions takes effort. You will have to update each newsletter’s email address yourself, which can take time if you follow many.
What this means
- One report instead of hundreds of emails. The bot condenses many newsletters into a single daily read.
- Users are building their own tools. This is a community-made bot, not an official product.
- Check before you rely on it. It acts on your behalf, so review what it sends you.
