Getting it right
We aim to be accurate, and we link every source so you can check our work for yourself.
What we correct
• Factual errors.
• Claims that have gone out of date.
• Stories that have moved on, for example when something alleged is confirmed or something proposed becomes final.
How to report an error
Use the form on this page. Tell us which article it is, what is wrong and, if you can, link to a source that shows the correct information.
What happens next
We check every report against primary sources. If we got something wrong, we fix the article and add a dated note at the bottom, like this:
Correction, 8 October 2026: An earlier version said X. It was Y.
Small typos are fixed without a note.
Keeping stories up to date
We regularly review recent stories for claims that have changed since we published them.
