VanEck Asks the SEC to Withdraw Its Lido Staked Ethereum ETF Filing

VanEck Digital Assets, LLC has asked the US Securities and Exchange Commission for consent to withdraw the registration statement for the VanEck Lido Staked Ethereum ETF. The request, filed on Form RW dated 14 October 2026, covers Form S-1 file number 333-290918, first filed on 16 October 2025.

The sponsor said it “does not intend to proceed with the planned distribution of the Trust’s shares.” The filing states that the registration has not been declared effective and that no securities have been or will be issued or sold under it. No further reason is given.

The withdrawal still needs the SEC’s consent.
