NEAR and ZEC Now Tradable on Solana via Sunrise, Posts Claim

Sunrise posted on X on 15 October 2026 that it is partnering with @near_intents to establish liquid markets for NEAR Intents assets on Solana, with the rollout beginning with $NEAR “now trading via Sunrise.” A follow-up Sunrise post on 16 October said $ZEC is “now tradable on @Solana via Sunrise,” powered by NEAR Intents.

What the posts say — and what is still “Next”

Sunrise’s 15 October post: “NEAR Intents powers universal asset access across chains. Sunrise establishes the markets. The rollout begins with $NEAR, now trading via Sunrise.” The same thread says the next step is planned (text truncated in the API with “Next, we plan to…”).

NEAR Protocol’s corroborating post (verified) states: “$NEAR is now listed on @sunrise. NEAR Intents powers canonical bridging from multiple chains to Solana, starting with $NEAR, with more supported assets to follow. Next: direct NEAR Intents integration on Sunrise, opening more paths for assets and liquidity to reach Solana.”

So today’s claim is listing / tradability via Sunrise, with direct Intents integration on Sunrise still planned — not described as already live.

The 16 October Sunrise post then adds ZEC to the same framing: tradable on Solana via Sunrise, powered by NEAR Intents, as “the next rollout” in the partnership.

Why NEAR → Solana liquidity matters

NEAR Intents is NEAR’s cross-chain intent / bridging stack; Sunrise positions itself as the Solana-side market venue for those assets. Bringing NEAR and then ZEC (Zcash) into Solana DeFi venues is a classic “assets meet liquidity” move — if the posts hold up in actual pools and routers. Zcash’s privacy brand landing on Solana through an Intents-powered path is especially watched by users who want ZEC exposure without leaving Solana wallets — again, as a product claim from Sunrise, not a TSN audit of pool depth.

Keep the claim boundaries clear

  • Claimed now: $NEAR then $ZEC tradable on Solana via Sunrise, powered by NEAR Intents (Sunrise / NEAR Protocol posts).
  • Still planned: direct NEAR Intents integration on Sunrise (NEAR Protocol: “Next”).
  • Not in these posts: TVL, volume, fee schedules or which Solana DEXes route the markets.

Context across the NEAR news cluster

The same 48-hour window also brought NEAR AI’s Brave Leo TEE launch and a Foundation Council appointment for Helius CEO Mert Mumtaz — separate stories. Do not fold Sunrise listings into those posts; cross-link them once live. The MPC “17 live mainnet operators” item from the same brief remains on hold and is not covered here.

What’s still unknown

  • Which Solana venues and pools actually carry the Sunrise markets
  • Depth, slippage and whether ZEC retains any privacy properties after bridging
  • Timing of the “direct NEAR Intents integration on Sunrise”

What to watch

  • Sunrise or NEAR Intents docs naming concrete Solana programmes / pools
  • An announcement that direct Intents integration on Sunrise has shipped (still “Next” today)

What this means

  • Claim (via @sunrise on X): $NEAR, then $ZEC, tradable on Solana via Sunrise / NEAR Intents.
  • Direct Intents integration on Sunrise: still planned (“Next”).
  • Corroborated by @NEARProtocol on the $NEAR listing and bridging framing.
