Victory Park Capital, the Janus Henderson affiliate that specialises in private credit and asset-backed finance, has launched AltsABF Tokenized Feeder Fund, L.P. — branded VALTS — with Tradable Corp, giving eligible investors tokenized access to the Privacore VPC Asset Backed Credit Fund (AltsABF) on the Stellar blockchain.
The launch was announced on 15 October 2026 via Business Wire (9:00 AM EDT; full text carried on FinancialContent). VALTS is a private fund for qualified purchasers in the United States, subject to onboarding, KYC/AML checks, jurisdictional eligibility and securities-law requirements. It is not a retail product open to the general public.
What VALTS is — and what it is not
AltsABF is a continuously offered, non-listed, closed-end interval fund focused on private asset-backed credit. It launched in January 2026. VALTS does not replace AltsABF; it is a feeder that invests in AltsABF and issues tokenized interests so eligible investors can hold exposure through blockchain rails.
According to the release, VALTS is priced on the net asset value of its investment in AltsABF, net of VALTS-level fees and expenses. Investors should not confuse a token in a wallet with a freely tradeable stock: the release says tokens can be transferred only to other pre-approved investors, subject to transfer restrictions, and tokenization remains subject to evolving legal, tax and regulatory treatment.
Liquidity and distributions
VALTS expects to offer quarterly liquidity, subject to its governing documents and to AltsABF’s quarterly repurchase offers. Those AltsABF offers are made for no less than 5% and no more than 25% of AltsABF’s outstanding shares, the release says. Interval-fund liquidity is therefore capped and periodic — investors should not expect to exit their full position on demand.
VALTS also expects to pay monthly income distributions directly to investors’ wallets in stablecoin. Distributions from the underlying strategy are not guaranteed; AltsABF’s own risk language in the release warns that distributions can include return of capital and that the fund may need to sell assets at a loss to meet liquidity needs.
Partners and scale claims
VPC has partnered with Tradable, described as a private asset marketplace and tokenization platform, to tokenize VALTS. The fund will initially be available on Stellar.
The release says VPC and Tradable first partnered in 2023, when VPC supported Tradable’s platform launch, and that Tradable has since tokenized $3 billion in private credit. That $3 billion figure is Tradable’s claim in the announcement, not an independently audited total verified by TSN for this story.
Kinan Hayani, partner at VPC, said: “Since launching AltsABF earlier this year, we’ve focused on expanding access to private asset-backed credit. Working with Tradable to launch VALTS is a natural next step in that strategy, helping to meet the growing demand for on-chain products.”
Alex Cordover, chief executive of Tradable, said: “We founded Tradable to help leading asset managers bring private investment opportunities on-chain without changing how they invest. The launch of VALTS demonstrates how blockchain infrastructure can create both new distribution opportunities and operational efficiencies.”
Who can buy
The release is explicit: VALTS will be available to qualified purchasers in the United States, after onboarding and compliance checks. In US securities language, “qualified purchaser” is a high bar — generally much stricter than accredited-investor status — used for certain private funds. TSN is not giving legal advice; the point for readers is that this launch is aimed at a narrow institutional and ultra-high-net-worth channel, not at retail crypto exchanges.
Flexible custody options are mentioned so investors can choose how to hold their tokens, still within the transfer restrictions.
Risks called out in the release
Beyond ordinary private-credit and interval-fund risks (credit, valuation, limited liquidity), the Business Wire text includes a tokenized-asset risk section: failure or compromise of blockchain networks, smart contracts, digital wallets, stablecoins and third-party platforms could delay or prevent transfers, repurchases or distributions, or cause losses. Tokenized interests have no public secondary market in the sense of an unrestricted exchange listing.
Stellar and Tradable are stated as not affiliated with Janus Henderson or its subsidiaries. Some VPC employees sit on Tradable’s board, the release notes.
Why it matters
Private asset-backed credit has been one of the louder RWA themes: managers want on-chain distribution without rewriting how the underlying portfolio is run. A Stellar-native feeder into a registered US interval fund is a concrete example of that pattern — token as wrapper, traditional fund as engine — with liquidity still governed by quarterly repurchase mechanics rather than 24/7 AMM exit.
For the Stellar RWA footprint, another private-credit product adds to a network that already shows material distributed value on dashboards such as rwa.xyz (covered separately). For Victory Park and Janus Henderson’s broader tokenization push, VALTS sits alongside other tokenized products the group has highlighted elsewhere; this release’s job is the feeder launch itself.
What’s still unknown
- Initial AUM or first closing size for VALTS.
- Which stablecoin will be used for monthly distributions.
- Fee schedule at the VALTS feeder level.
- Whether availability will expand beyond Stellar or beyond US qualified purchasers.
What to watch
Watch for a stated first NAV, distribution currency, and any later Tradable or VPC update on subscriptions. Also watch AltsABF repurchase-offer sizes, which cap how much VALTS liquidity can realistically flow in a given quarter.
What this means
- Qualified purchasers only. VALTS is a US private-fund feeder, not a retail token listing.
- Feeder into AltsABF. The January 2026 interval fund remains the underlying portfolio.
- Quarterly liquidity, monthly stablecoin income (expected). Both are subject to fund terms and caps.
