OKX has listed Unified Tokenized Stocks on its spot markets, letting eligible users trade price exposure to selected stocks and ETFs in USDT pairs around the clock, the exchange said in an announcement published on 14 October 2026.
The product is powered by xStocks, which OKX describes as Payward’s tokenized equity framework. It supports deposits and withdrawals of xStocks on the Solana and X Layer networks. Spot trading for the newly named pairs opened on a staggered schedule on 15 October 2026 UTC.
This is a separate story from Binance’s bStocks product and AUM updates. TSN is not folding the OKX listing into the Binance post.
What “Unified Tokenized Stocks” means on OKX
OKX says Unified Tokenized Stocks is a tokenized-stock trading asset on the exchange that lets users hold and trade the price exposure of an underlying stock or ETF in units of shares. Each asset is named with an uppercase “X” prefixed to the ticker (examples in the announcement include XAAPL and XTSLA).
Where tokenized versions of the same stock are issued by multiple providers, OKX may consolidate them into a single on-exchange asset, traded on one order book under one set of corporate-action rules. The tokens are not issued by OKX itself; OKX presents the listing as an arrangement that provides price exposure and a right to withdraw xStocks if the user elects to do so.
No ownership, no voting — and not for US persons
OKX’s announcement is blunt on legal status: Unified Tokenized Stocks does not represent ownership of the underlying company or confer shareholder rights such as voting. It is price exposure, not a stock certificate.
The notice also states that the product has not been registered under the US Securities Act of 1933 and may not be offered or sold to US persons (as defined in Regulation S) or within the United States. OKX warns that availability varies by region and that customers should check the app for whether the product applies to them. Prices can be volatile and investors may lose part or all of their investment, the exchange says.

How OKX pitches the product
OKX highlights several operational features in the same announcement:
- 24/7 trading, including weekends; outside US market hours, pricing is based on the last close plus a market estimate.
- Same account as crypto spot and other OKX positions — no separate brokerage login.
- Strategy bots (grid and DCA) supported on tokenised stock pairs.
- Trade with USDT already on OKX — no separate fiat brokerage account in the pitch.
- Dividends handled at issuer level and passed as a small increase in share balance, net of applicable withholding tax, without pausing trading for the dividend event.
Those are OKX’s product claims. They do not change the core legal framing: no ownership, no voting, and geographic restrictions including the US-person bar.
Why keep this separate from Binance bStocks
Tokenized-stock venues are proliferating, and exchanges often announce AUM or listing milestones that look similar in a headline. Binance’s bStocks story (TSN 22150) is about that platform’s reported assets under management. OKX’s notice is a listing and product-structure announcement for Unified Tokenized Stocks via xStocks. Different issuer stack, different venue rules, different tickers. Mixing them would blur who stands behind which token and which restrictions apply.

Why it matters
For traders outside restricted jurisdictions, always-on equity and ETF price exposure next to crypto balances is the practical draw — especially around earnings and weekend news. For regulators and careful readers, the more important lines are the ones OKX put in plain English: these instruments are not shares, do not vote, and are not for US persons under the notice’s Reg S framing.
Corporate actions and withdrawal terms ultimately point back to the underlying tokenized-stock provider’s documentation, OKX notes. Users who withdraw xStocks leave the unified order book and take on whatever terms that provider sets.
What’s still unknown
- Full list of Unified Tokenized Stocks beyond the pairs named in this listing notice.
- How OKX chooses which issuer’s token wins when consolidating duplicates.
- Liquidity and spreads in the first sessions after the 15 October opens.
- How dividend reinvestment and withholding will look on individual tax forms.
What to watch
Watch OKX for further pair listings, any clarification of which xStocks issuers feed the unified book, and whether other jurisdictions tighten or loosen access. Keep Binance bStocks reporting on its own page.
What this means
- Price exposure only. No company ownership and no voting rights, per OKX.
- Not for US persons. Unregistered under the 1933 Act; Reg S restriction stated in the notice.
- Separate from Binance bStocks. Different product and venue; do not merge the stories.
